Deal Lift AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, free tools, dashboard, and paid reports.

By using Deal Lift AI you acknowledge that your information may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed in the ways described below.

  • Cookies and similar technology data (see Section 4); and
  • Information generated about you by our service, including inferred attributes, scores, and assessments that may constitute personal information.

We do not seek to collect sensitive information. Please do not submit sensitive information unless we expressly ask for it and you have agreed to provide it.

2. How we use your information

We may use your information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve Deal Lift AI;

We may also use de-identified or aggregated information for analytics, benchmarking, and service improvement.

3. How the service uses AI

Deal Lift AI uses AI systems, including generative AI, to generate scores, confidence levels, commentary, and related outputs. These outputs are probabilistic and indicative. They are not determinative of any person’s rights, entitlements, or access to services.

To the extent that our use of AI involves automated decisions that could reasonably be expected to significantly affect an individual’s rights or interests, we will comply with applicable transparency obligations under the Privacy Act, including any requirements introduced by amendments to the Australian Privacy Principles.

If you believe an automated output has affected you, you may contact us to request further information or a review.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, prevent abuse, and support marketing measurement. You can manage cookies through your browser. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

5. Third-party service providers and AI processing

We use cloud hosting, analytics, payment, support, and AI model providers to deliver the service. Information you submit may be processed by those providers on our behalf as reasonably necessary to generate reports, host the platform, process payments, and provide support.

Where you submit listing text, documents, or related materials, you acknowledge that those materials may contain personal or commercially sensitive information. You must only submit content you are authorised to provide and that is reasonably necessary for the analysis you request.

Important note on confidentiality and privilege: inputting information into third-party AI tools may affect the confidentiality of that information and, in the case of legal or professional advice, may risk waiver of legal professional privilege. You are responsible for assessing what is appropriate to submit. Where your engagement is subject to a non-disclosure agreement, do not submit confidential material covered by that agreement.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Storage, security, and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and manage legitimate business needs. When information is no longer required, we may delete or de-identify it.

7. Accuracy, access, and correction

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information used or disclosed is accurate, current, and complete. You acknowledge that outputs generated by AI systems are probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies, inferences, or errors.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or misleading. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity.

Where the law permits or requires us to refuse access or correction, we will explain our position.

8. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, including cloud hosting, analytics, storage, support, and AI model providers, may store or process personal information outside Australia. The countries in which overseas recipients are likely to be located include the United States. Privacy protections in those jurisdictions may differ from those in Australia. We take reasonable steps designed to ensure that overseas service providers handle personal information consistently with applicable privacy obligations. By using the service and submitting information to us, you acknowledge that overseas disclosure may occur as reasonably necessary to operate the service.

9. Contact us

If you have a privacy question, access request, correction request, or complaint about how we handle personal information, contact us at support@dealliftai.com.au. Please describe the issue and include enough detail for us to identify your account or request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
